BPM Architect (ACE American Insurance Company (Chubb)), Jersey City, NJ: Building and maintaining effective Business Process Management (BPM) software programs, computer systems, and architecture, ensuring adherence to internal efficiency and function plans; Designing, developing, and improving software systems and web service technologies using a range of programs, languages, and BPM methodologies; Providing leadership and expertise throughout the software design and workflow discovery processes, including evaluating existing systems using interviews, workshops, document analysis, surveys, user scenarios, process maps, and task and workflow analysis; Aligning business needs and goals with realistic technical limitations and capabilities, ensuring that deliverables support business objectives and serving as a liaison between project managers, team leads, and other stakeholders; Leading the creation of reusable software components that can be leveraged across the Chubb enterprise, from the conceptual stage to delivery and maintenance; and Maintaining a repository of process design based on BPMN 2.0 standards and supporting the work of the larger BPM Architecture team. Must have the following skills and experience in order to perform the above-mentioned tasks: Experience with BPM tools including OpenText AppWorks, Appian, Pega, Camunda and IBM; Proficiency with OpenText AppWorks Business Process Management, Case Management, Decision Management and RPA; Proficiency in AppWorks Low Code Platform; Experience in XML, XSLT, XPATH, Web Services, UDDI, SOAP and REST; Experience in integrating AppWorks with Content/Document Management, extended ECM, Brava Viewer, Email, JMS, external REST APIs and AppWorks implementation including Entity modeling and Rulesets design and AppWorks Web APIs and REST APIs; Experience with BPM capabilities including LifeCycle, Activities, Dynamic Workflow, Data Transformation, UI (XForms and Entity modeling forms), SLA, KPI, OTDS, CARS, Gateway, SSO, External Authentication, SAML, Listeners (File, MQ), WSApp Services, SOAP services and HTTP connector; Expertise in at least one cloud technology platform such as Azure or AWS; Experience in building SOAP based web services and REST services APIs; Experience in front end technologies including Angular and ReactJS with responsive web design and web accessibility; Experience in Kafka, Drools, OpenSearch, Spring Boot Java; Knowledge of GIT and Source Control Management; Ability to create reusable software components that can be leveraged across the enterprise; Experience in Insurance business domains, especially in commercial property and casualty space. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or closely related field and at least three (3) years of experience as a Software Developer and Architect or related occupation.
