Welder/Fitter**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fitter to join our team. This position offers growth opportunities and is available for the dayshift. As a Welder/Fitter, you will be responsible for laying out and tacking metal pieces, following blueprints, and ensuring high-quality welds. Your expertise in MIG, FCAW, and TIG welding processes on various materials, such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum, will be essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Layout and tack metal pieces according to blueprints.
+ Perform welding tasks using MIG, FCAW, and TIG processes.
+ Pass certification tests to meet industry standards and codes.
+ Read and interpret engineering sketches, drawings, and welding symbols.
+ Weld in various positions, including flat, vertical, and overhead, sometimes in confined spaces.
+ Collaborate with team members to solve fit and operational issues.
+ Operate drills, grinders, forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment.
+ Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and excellent math skills.
+ Utilize metal saws or shears as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of experience as a Welder/Fitter.
+ Proficient in MIG, FCAW, and TIG welding processes.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints and welding symbols.
+ Experience welding in various positions, including confined spaces.
+ Mechanical aptitude and strong math skills.
+ Experience with metal saws or shears.
+ Ability to accurately use measuring instruments such as tape measures.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
