Job Description We are seeking a Construction Administrator to play a vital role in reviewing and managing shop drawings, attending meetings as a representative for school districts and government projects, conducting field reviews, and coordinating RFI responses. The ideal candidate will handle multiple projects simultaneously, with expertise in technical concepts and construction knowledge gained through experience. As a representative of the company, you will work independently, adhering to high ethical standards and exhibiting clear communication. Responsibilities
- Review and manage shop drawings.
- Attend meetings as the prime for school districts and government projects.
- Conduct field reviews and coordinate RFI responses.
- Handle working on 2-4 jobs simultaneously.
- Review technical concepts such as distinguishing between electric and gas water heaters.
- Consult conversion charts for discrepancies in reports.
- Seek clarification from engineers when necessary.
- Process subs, conduct field reviews, document work, and handle RFIs.
- Review changes to proposals.
- Represent the company with a high ethical code and clear communication.
- 10+ years of experience in construction administration.
- Proficiency in project administration, coordination, and management.
- Experience in document control and construction administration.
- Ability to conduct site assessments and manage RFIs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience from an internship at a MEP firm can be counted towards years of experience.
- Experience in data entry, customer service, and construction management.
