Overview:
ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Project Coordinator position will oversee small projects related to refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line maintenance, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely execution within budget. Responsibilities include budget development, cost tracking, work package preparation, procurement, safety planning, resource management, and schedule conflict resolution. The role involves contract management, vendor coordination, strategic planning, and delivering communications to senior management. Additionally, this coordinator supports outage operations and continuous improvement initiatives. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
Pay rate: $32.26 - $49

Responsibilities:
* Manage small projects for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line maintenance, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely execution within budget.
* Oversee staff in planning, leading, controlling, and monitoring project activities.
* Handle all aspects of project implementation, including budget development, work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA planning, industrial and nuclear safety, work prioritization, resource loading, and work execution.
* Resolve schedule delays and conflicts to maintain project timelines.
* Track costs versus budget for assigned projects and ensure financial accountability.
* Interface frequently with clients, engineers, related parties, and management to maintain progress and focus.
* Develop and manage contracts and coordinate with vendors to support project needs.
* Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups, including senior management.
* Develop and maintain long-range planning strategies for assigned projects.
* Support effective implementation of self-assessment and corrective action initiatives.
* Provide outage support, including OCC.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university AND one year of experience in a technical field
* OR Associates degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND three years' experience in a technical field
* OR High School Diploma/GED AND five years' experience in a technical field.
* Project Management Certification.
* Construction Management Certification.
* Basic project management techniques.
* Understanding of core values related to human performance and cost-effective work execution.
* Proficiency in basic computer software tools (MS Office).
* Familiarity with error reduction and human performance improvement methods.
* Knowledge of cost-effective work execution methodologies.
* Experience in project management, on-line work management, refueling and forced outage management activities, engineering, or standard project management techniques.
