Job Summary
A highly skilled and safety-driven Construction Project Manager is needed to lead a major brownfield redevelopment project, including the demolition of an existing structure and construction of a new Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) . This role will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle with a strong emphasis on onsite safety, regulatory compliance, budget management, contractor coordination , and cross-functional collaboration . The individual will also manage the delivery, installation, and commissioning of critical facility equipment and serve as Project Manager for those tasks as required.
Essential Functions Construction Project Management (50%)-
Manage demolition and construction activities in alignment with cost, schedule, safety, and quality goals.

Oversee subcontractor and vendor adherence to project specifications and timelines.

Track budgets, forecast cost impacts, validate contractor billing, and provide timely stakeholder reporting.

Enforce strict safety compliance and coordinate workflows among multiple third-party contractors.

Lead daily coordination meetings and site briefings to ensure safety and project alignment.

Ensure full compliance with all local and state construction and demolition regulations.

Work closely with internal stakeholders to minimize disruptions to existing operations.

Identify and execute cost-saving and risk-reduction opportunities throughout the project.

Conduct daily safety briefings, walkarounds, and monthly audits.

Collaborate with EHS teams and subcontractors to implement safety strategies.

Define safe zones, issue work permits, and enforce safety rules.

Perform a minimum of three SMAT (Safety Management Audit Tool) assessments monthly and maintain incident logs.

Oversee design and implementation of critical facility equipment.

Convert project needs into compliant, scalable engineering solutions.

Work cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery and integration of engineered systems.

Indirect management of third-party contractors responsible for demolition, construction, and installation work.

Oversight of a $40 million USD construction budget.

Regional responsibility within the United States.

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline ( Required )

Minimum 7 years of construction project management experience, including PEMB projects ( Required )

Strong leadership, communication, budgeting, and problem-solving skills

PMP or equivalent project management certification ( Preferred )

OSHA 30 certification ( Required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire)

Experience with LEED or sustainable building practices ( Preferred )

Exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, chemicals, confined spaces, moving equipment, and noise
