Roofer Helper / Laborer

Unloading materials from truck and unrolling roofing material
Ensuring there is enough material for entire roof or repair project
Lifting roofing materials onto roof
Clearing debris from roof
Scraping or pulling off old roofing marterial
Assist in installing paper and shingles to make repair to shingle roofs
Assist in applying layer of tar on roof
Assist in cleaning membrane to prepare for roof repairs
Clearing out gutters and drains
Assist in affixing metal sheets to roof boards or frameworks
Assisting in locating and fixing leaks
Repairing damage caused from storms and high winds
Performing other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Drivers license preferred but not a must
Must have reliable transportation to and from office
CANNOT be afraid of heights
Must be comfortable working on the roof of multistory buildings
Ability to follow and apply direction from the lead roofer
Must be able to perform other duties as assigned by lead roofer
Must be able to pass a background check checks are performed on all employess
Must be able to climb ladders
Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
Must be able to use roofing tools and repair materials
Must be able to work outside on roofs for extended periods and in all weather conditions
