Shop Supervisor**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Supervisor with expertise in MIG welding, machining, and supervisory experience. This role involves overseeing daily operations in the manufacturing facility and coordinating various production activities to ensure efficient workflow.

**Responsibilities**

+ Develop a work schedule for the workers based on production requirements.

+ Serve as a liaison between the workers and the supervisor.

+ Assist in facility maintenance.

+ Collaborate with the supervisor on training new employees throughout the operation.

+ Work with welders and newly hired welders on welding techniques, and prepare non-certified welders for certification.

+ Coordinate with the Quality Control Manager to maintain overall quality throughout the plant.

+ Develop production standards for the shop floor and work on improving them through better techniques and equipment.

+ Collaborate with the management team to establish annual budgets for operational improvements.

**Essential Skills**

+ 2+ years of MIG welding experience (flat and horizontal).

+ 2+ years of machining experience.

+ Experience in robotic welding.

+ Blueprint reading proficiency.

+ Ability to operate grinders, cranes, and forklifts.

+ Group welding experience.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Structural fitting.

+ Complex blueprint reading.

+ Foreman and supervisory skills.

+ Industrial management skills.

+ Fabrication and fitting expertise.

+ Tack welding and flux core welding experience.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harmony, Pennsylvania.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
