Under the direction of Plant Manager with input from Traffic Supervisor and Manager of Order Fulfillment , the Warehouse working Supervisor is responsible for , storage, preparation, and order fulfillment for distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable government laws or regulations, coordinate the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials.

Requirements

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Key Result Items

  • Adhere and promote safety culture and good housekeeping.
  • Move and organize industrial goods within the manufacturing facility
  • Physically receive inbound goods and enter into ERP system (SAP)
  • Organize and maintain inventories of products and materials.
  • Pick and pack orders for shipment
  • Create and repair boxing for shipments
  • Trucking materials to and from Vendors and Customers in the Tri State area
  • Provide small repairs and modifications to products.
  • Operate knife surfacing equipment (HXT)
  • Coordinate shipping orders with the Traffic Supervisor
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Load and unload trucks as necessary

Technology

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of work-related experience
  • Proficient at crane use and part slinging methods
  • Proficient at fork truck movements
  • Proficient at wooden box configuration and building
  • Experienced at driving a loaded truck (Medical Examiner's Certificate, CDL is not required)
  • Understanding of purchasing and inventory procedures
  • Understanding the capabilities of AMUSA. facilities, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Understanding of materials used and manufacturing methods
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving

Physical Requirements

Lifting requirements up to 50 lbs

As required to individually perform Key Result items
