Assistant Construction Superintendent - Ansay Development Corporation

Job Summary: The Construction Project Assistant supports the Construction Project Manager in coordinating daily activities related to construction project planning and execution. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in real estate development and construction, with mentorship and on-the-job training designed to prepare the individual for advancement into a Construction Project Manager role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and coordination of construction projects from start to finish.
• Track and maintain project schedules, budgets, contracts, and permit documentation.
• Communicate regularly with contractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
• Conduct job site visits to assist in project oversight and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare project reports, meeting agendas, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Organize and manage project files, drawings, and specifications.
• Support procurement activities, including vendor sourcing and purchase order tracking.
• Attend and document project meetings and assist with follow-up on action items.
• Learn and apply building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in construction
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate and report effectively.
• Aptitude in math and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
