MIG Welder 1st OR 3rd Shift - $24-28/hr - Canton, OH Shift Description: 1st shift (Monday to Friday: 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM) 3rd shift (Sunday to Thursday: 7:00 PM - 4:30 AM) - (Shift Differential $2.75) This role involves performing MIG welding, fitting, and fabrication on Structural Steel or Stainless Steel, following blueprints, and ensuring high-quality standards. Job Responsibilities Perform MIG welding, fitting, and fabrication on structural and stainless steel. Follow blueprints to fit and fabricate parts. Execute welds up to 1/2 inch thick. Grind and prep parts for welding. Read a tape measure to cut parts to size. Use an overhead crane daily. Assist with cleaning the shop during downtime. Essential Skills Minimum of 2+ years welding experience in manufacturing. Proficiency in MIG welding on structural metal. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Capability to pass a MIG weld test performing vertical and horizontal welds. Experience operating material handling equipment such as cranes and tow motors. Competency in using basic hand tools. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Basic understanding of different weld joints. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours per day. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with flux core and stick welding. Knowledge of structural steel and stainless steel. Why Work Here?
