Job Description

Join a dynamic team passionate about delivering high-quality automation solutions. As a Drafter, you will be instrumental in translating design concepts into detailed AutoCAD drawings, ensuring precision and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Translate design concepts and sketches from engineers and designers into detailed AutoCAD drawings.
  • Create and revise 2D electrical schematics, panel layouts, and mechanical drawings for box build assemblies.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
  • Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for project tracking and revisions.
  • Support the production team with clear and accurate build documentation.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting.
  • Strong design skills and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with electrical standards such as UL508A or NFPA 79.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial automation environment.
  • Exposure to ERP or PLM systems for document control.

Work Environment

This position is onsite with a 6-month contract that has the potential to transition to a contract-to-hire role. You will work in a collaborative environment that values innovation and precision, focusing on projects that power real-world industrial systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
