General Description:
Tolin Mechanical, an established, well recognized and respected HVAC service contractor, is looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our Mid-Atlantic team at a site in National Harbor. We are seeking a candidate who meets the qualifications listed below.
We have a solid team of experienced and respected technicians. Our business continues to grow, and we are looking for another solid technician that is interested in a long-term position and who will fit well into our team.
The Journeyman HVAC technician will be able to diagnose, repair and maintain Air Cooled and Water Source Heat Pump systems, installation/replacement of units, replacement of compressors, filter dryers, TXV's, fan motors, evaporator coils, condenser coils, microprocessors and associated electrical components. The ability to communicate responsibly with customers and Tolin office manager to assure the company's high-quality reputation is maintained. Work with and train staff associates in the field for PMs and repairs on all unit types. Extensive experience with CW Cooling Tower systems, WSHPs and Fan Powered CAVs with electric reheat is a plus. Available for on call rotation.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

- Training in procurement procedures
- Supervise Bldg. Leads and maintenance staff to maintain HVAC systems, Multi-skill Cross Training with Electrical / Life Safety Inspections Assist Chief Engineer so both Chiefs can support each other in time of need.
Compensation & Benefits:
Average Starting Rate: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour. Combined experience, education, skills and knowledge will be taken into consideration.

Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- Completed an HVAC Journeyman's Program or equivalent education/training
- MD, VA, or DC Journeyman's License
- Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of working in mechanical rooms and spaces 2-6 hours at a time.
- Must frequently lift and/or move and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move and/or balance while standing or climbing up to 25 pounds.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl.
