Job Description Design innovative equipment, machinery, and components that meet or exceed customer specifications while ensuring manufacturability. Develop practical solutions to technical engineering challenges and conduct development testing in collaboration with Test Engineers. Analyze test data to draw conclusions and reconcile differences between predicted and actual results. Provide engineering design, maintenance support, and training to manufacturing areas to optimize efficiency, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities
- Design new equipment and machinery to meet customer specifications.
- Develop innovative solutions to advance technical engineering problems.
- Conduct development testing with Test Engineers and analyze resulting data.
- Support Test Engineer in writing analysis and test reports.
- Provide engineering design, maintenance support, and training to manufacturing areas.
- Mechanical design expertise.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience in aerospace engineering.
- Proficiency in NX Design software.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- 3D modeling and design experience with NX (open to other 3D software).
- Experience in gear design, particularly custom gears.
