**Position: Welder/Fabricator**
We are seeking a **skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator** to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. You'll be involved in a variety of tasks essential to the successful completion of custom machinery projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and blueprints
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on structural and sheet metal (carbon and stainless steel)
- Fabricate components using saws, brakes, shears, and other shop equipment
- Conduct pre-fabrication and forming tasks as needed
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Take initiative and ownership of your work from start to finish
**Qualifications**
**Required:**
- Minimum 1 year of fabrication experience
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, symbols, and tolerances
- MIG and TIG welding experience (weld test required)
- Familiarity with measuring tools and fabrication equipment
- Willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks
- Strong sense of responsibility and pride in craftsmanship
**Preferred:**
- Experience with manual lathe and Bridgeport machines
- Stainless steel surface finishing skills
- Wet painting and assembly experience
- Military veterans encouraged to apply
