Welder**
**Job Description**
A Welder performs welding processes for the fabrication and assembly of metal carts, cabinets, or stainless tables and carts. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, stoop, pull, push, assemble, and carry for extended periods of time, up to 10 hours per day. The role also involves lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
**Responsibilities**
+ Determine the appropriate welding process, equipment, or method based on product requirements.
+ Set up components for welding according to job specifications.
+ Follow all safe manufacturing, material handling, and PPE procedures.
+ Follow written and verbal directions to complete assignments or jobs.
+ Perform all duties in conjunction with company procedures.
+ Conduct quality checks of all finished processes and work.
+ Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ MIG welding
+ TIG welding
+ Fabrication
+ Proficiency with hand and power tools
+ Proficiency with tape measure and blueprint reading
+ Welding certificate or 1-3 years of on-the-job MIG welding experience
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to combine schooling and on-the-job experience

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes shift work for MIG Level 1-2 welders with shifts from 5am-4:30pm and 3:25pm-1:55am with a $1 shift differential. Mandatory work is required every other Friday. While the environment can get hot in the summer, it is a typical manufacturing setting that is neither excessively dirty nor pristine.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
