Production Worker**
**Job Description**
As a Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by pre-labeling bags and feeding them into the bagger system. You will be responsible for understanding the software of the bagger system and performing light maintenance when required. Your duties will also include ensuring bags are properly sealed and that the product is weighed to meet standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Pre-label bags and feed them into the bagger.
+ Understand and operate the bagger system software.
+ Perform light maintenance on the bagger system as needed.
+ Ensure bags are properly sealed and weigh products to ensure they meet standards.
+ Operate panning machines, extrusion lines, crunch lines, and packaging machines.
+ Mix, batch, pan, and pack products.
+ Lift up to 50lbs.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Experience in packing, palletizing, visual inspection, machine operating, and blending.
+ Must have at least 6 months of manufacturing experience; food manufacturing experience preferred.

**Work Environment**
This role is based in a food manufacturing facility where adherence to health and safety guidelines is paramount. The environment is clean, well-lit, and fast-paced, requiring a lot of standing. Due to the nature of the products manufactured, the facility can be dusty. It is climate controlled but may reach temperatures up to 100 degrees due to machinery and ovens. Employees are required to wear hairnets, beard nets, steel-toed shoes, and lab coats.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.50/hr.
