This position is essential to the construction, repair, and maintenance of marine and coastal infrastructure, including seawalls, docks, and other waterfront structures. The ideal candidate is physically capable, dependable, and has a strong work ethic. Experience in heavy civil construction is a plus, but we're willing to train the right individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the marine construction industry. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain a variety of construction tools and equipment, including jackhammers, drills, saws, and concrete mixers Assist with tasks such as concrete forming, demolition, and basic carpentry work Work in confined spaces, at heights, and on/near water with proper safety gear Load, unload, and transport materials and tools to and from the worksite Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe and productive work environment Collaborate with a team that includes equipment operators, welders, excavators, and commercial divers to complete projects on schedule and within budget Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in heavy civil construction preferred (but not required) Ability to operate and maintain construction tools and equipment Understanding of basic construction techniques and safety practices Physically able to lift, carry, and perform manual labor in various weather conditions Comfortable working in physically demanding and outdoor environments Must pass a background check Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required OSHA or other safety certifications are a plus Principals only.
