The Project Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the successful execution of complex construction projects. Working under the direction of the Project Manager and in collaboration with the Superintendent, the Project Engineer ensures that all aspects of the projectfrom planning and coordination to quality control and safetyare executed efficiently and in compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
Support project planning, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
Monitor and enforce quality control measures, including inspections, punch lists, and daily reporting.
Assist in managing site logistics, material handling, and delivery coordination.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and support on-site safety officers.
Lead Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) coordination for hospital construction phases.
Attend and contribute to project meetings with owners, design teams, and subcontractors.
Skills and Abilities
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud).
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of construction safety standards and infection control protocols.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
1-3 years of experience in construction or project engineering.
Familiarity with submittal and RFI processes.
Experience with construction documentation and quality control procedures.
Understanding of safety and risk management practices on construction sites
