Mechanical Engineer

Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and detail project drawings, manage multiple tasks, and provide technical support using 3D SolidWorks. Requirements: Experience with 3D SolidWorks and 2D AutoCAD

Familiarity with sheet metal and structural design

Knowledge of conveyance, heating, and washing systems

Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software

Preferred Skills: Engineering or Technical degree

PE License

Responsibilities: Generate drawings and coach others in using 3D SolidWorks

Prepare BOMs and assembly drawings

Select components based on critical design requirements

Calculate designs for conveyance, washing, heating, and structural systems

Check drawings and calculations by peers

Obtain quotes from vendors for purchased components

Work with accounting to execute purchase orders

Provide technical support to other engineering functions, sales, and manufacturing

Maintain project drawing files, folders, and archives
