Machine Operator - Rebar Fabrication

NIGHT SHIFT @ 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM DAY SHIFT @ 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM DRUG FREE REQUIRED - including marijuana due to our Federal Contracts BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED $18.00 - $21.50 per hour *** PLUS MONTHLY PERFORMANCE BONUS *** *** pay rate depends on experience; we are looking for EXPERIENCED metal fabricators *** Night Shift ADDs $2.00 shift differential Position Summary: The Machine Operator plays a key role in our rebar manufacturing and fabrication facility, operating various types of equipment to cut, bend, and move reinforcing steel products. This position involves both indoor and outdoor work, with exposure to varying weather conditions. Key Responsibilities: Follow all company safety guidelines and maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety. Operate machinery including shear and bending machines. Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials and finished products. Load and unload rebar stock and finished orders onto trailers. Assist in the preassembly of cages, piers, caissons, mats, and other structural components. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic math and measurement skills. Working knowledge of hand tools and tape measures. Willingness to work overtime when needed. Capable of working in hot, cold, noisy, and dusty environments. Able to lift, carry, and move heavy materials regularly. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow within the company. Work Environment: Indoor and outdoor work required. Frequent exposure to weather conditions and industrial environment hazards.
