DC Transportation Support Supervisor

SiteOne has seen tremendous growth over the last few years, and we are expanding our distribution center network to ensure best in class service levels to our branch locations. We are looking to hire a DC Transportation Support Supervisor for our new DC located in the greater Kenosha, WI area.

The Transportation Support Supervisor is responsible for assisting with route execution, ASN creation, supporting inbound and outbound operations of the distribution center, ensuring timely shipment to our branches, shipment preparation, and carrier coordination. This role helps ensure safety and quality standards and drives productivity to meet customer service expectations.

What you'll do:

• Assist and help with daily Distribution Center operations including inbound and outbound activity.
• Create advance shipping notices (ASNs), planning and dispatching outbound deliveries.
• Supervise outbound LTL and parcel shipments.
• Service SiteOne branches when it comes to add-on and expedited deliveries.
• Support SiteOne branch and carrier communication.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track productivity and resolve issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
• Execute and deliver daily reports and updates to the Operations Manager.

Travel requirements:

• Up to 45% out-of-state travel during first 90 days of onboarding
• Skills We Are Seeking
  
  
  • 3+ years of experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of outbound logistics, shipping procedures, and carrier coordination.
  • Proficiency with WMS and RF scanning technology.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds as part of a team lift.
  • Forklift certification a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
