What You'll Tackle
- Prepare surfaces (blast, grind, clean) and apply primers, single- and multi-component industrial coatings by spray, brush, or roll.
- Read and follow paint specs, job tickets, and safety data sheets without excuses.
- Mix coatings to the right viscosity and color; measure wet/dry film thickness with a gauge.
- Hoist, move, and position parts up to 50lbs---sometimes overhead---because gravity won't do it for you.
- Keep your paperwork straight and your deadlines tighter than a fresh masking line.
Must-Haves
- Proven experience as an **Industrial Painter**---this isn't a learn-as-you-go spot.
- Familiarity with HVLP, airless, and conventional spray equipment.
- Basic tape-measure skills (to the 1/16?) and the sense to check your own math.
- Ability to read simple blueprints or fabrication drawings.
- Willingness to pass a 90-day probationary period---show us what you're made of.
