Job Title: Wood Painter/ Woodworker

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with group leader and Monroe facility management to ensure production goals are met.
• Comply with all Monroe policies, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Must be able to follow step panel examples with strong attention to detail.
• Apply insulating coat as well as a variety of colors and dyes.
• Meet or exceed quality expectations for high gloss finished product.
• Must be able to operate stroke sander, palm sander, and pole sander.
• Perform preparation sand on all natural, exotic, dyed, and painted shells.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness of area and equipment, i.e. spray gun, spray booths.
• Ability to read and use measuring devices as required.
• Other duties as requested.

PRE-DETERMINED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Painting or finishing experience within a manufacturing environment required.
• Ability to read, follow directions, and good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Maintain regular attendance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand and or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds
• Requires frequent bending, reaching, lifting, repetitive motions, twisting, stooping, turning, finger dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
• Work is performed indoors.
