Experienced Excavator Operator Job Description We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to support underground utility and piping projects for a mechanical and plumbing contractor. This role requires precision in excavation around existing utilities and trenching for the installation of water, sewer, and storm systems. Responsibilities Operate excavators and other heavy equipment for underground utility and piping projects. Perform precise excavation around existing utilities. Trench for the installation of water, sewer, and storm systems. Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment. Maintain equipment in good working condition. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 years experience operating excavators. Minimum of 3 years experience working around utilities. Proficient in heavy equipment operation. Strong understanding of utility construction and digging practices. Reliability and a strong work ethic. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with skid steer and forklift operations.
