Trailer Mechanic/Welder: $30 to $40 per hour North of the Metro! Job Description We are seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic/Welder to join our dynamic team in our mid-size repair shop. This role involves performing a variety of repairs on different trailers and requires proficiency in both mechanical tasks and welding. Ideal candidates are those who are not afraid to get their hands dirty and can handle various trailer-related jobs efficiently. Recent tech graduates are welcome to apply. Responsibilities Perform brake jobs on trailers Repair and replace doors, interior and exterior side walls, and roofs Repair and replace marker and brake lights Address dolly leg issues Perform floor patches Fix air compressors Essential Skills 1+ years of experience as a trailer mechanic Proficiency in using hand and power tools Ability to read blueprints Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in welding Mechanical repair skills Why Work Here? Work Environment Our work environment is a mid-size trailer repair shop with over 6 bays available. It is a hands-on, active space where getting dirty is part of the job. We operate on a first shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, promoting a fun and collaborative atmosphere while maintaining a focus on timely and efficient job completion. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
