Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm but hours could vary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Knowledge and use of 5 and 6 axis welding robots (coordinated motion is a plus)

Familiarity with use of multiple GMAW profiles

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to correctly fixture and locate parts for robotic welding.

Operates machines to weld components together.

Inspects parts according to blueprints.

Use of calipers, micrometers, measuring fixtures and gauges.

Maintains expected production rate numbers.

Perform changeovers and hand weld repairs as needed

Perform welding material changeovers and general fixture maintenance and repair.

Ability to locate and run job programs. Make program changes as needed.

Ability to troubleshoot robotic welding cells including I/O logic as well as identify most likely points of failure.

Responsible for working in accordance with our documented Quality System and for ensuring that products and services meet the customers specified requirements

Maintains a clean and orderly work area using the 5S process, and follows all safety policies and procedures

May be required by management to perform other reasonable work-related tasks

May be required to work different shifts, hours, overtime and weekends if needed

Requirements

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

Welding: 2 years (Preferred)

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with 1-3 year(s) of related experience and/or training preferred. Robotic welding and setup experience necessary. AWS certification preferred, but not mandatory.
