Welder Job Description We are in search of a skilled welder to join our team. The primary responsibility will be MIG welding steel for conveyor systems. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on steel for conveyor systems. Read and interpret engineering blueprints. Measure and lay out weld locations and sizes accurately. Execute welds using the proper equipment and filler metal according to specifications on drawings. Review drawings thoroughly before beginning welding tasks. Properly use metalworking machinery such as rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, saws, brakes, and shears. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG welding. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints. Experience in measuring and laying out weld locations and sizes. Skill in executing welds using proper equipment and filler metal. Proficient use of metalworking machinery including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, saws, brakes, and shears. Additional Skills & Qualifications Attention to detail and precision in executing tasks. Strong understanding of welding safety protocols. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Dearborn, Michigan. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
