Sheet Metal Bending/Cutting and Punching Worker Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Sheet Metal worker to join our team. This position involves bending, cutting, and punching sheet metal using various machinery and tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality work.
Responsibilities:
Operate press brakes, shears, and punching machines
Measure, mark, and layout sheet metal according to specifications
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
Help training employees
Requirements:
Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication preferred
Ability to read measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
Basic mechanical knowledge and machine operation skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
