Were seeking a **dedicated Administrator Construction Manager (Administrative Engineering Coordinator)** to lead critical Outside Plant (OSP) construction activities. This hybrid position combines fieldwork and remote responsibilities, requiring local candidates who are ready to make an immediate impact.
**Position Overview:**
In this full-time, 12-month consultant role, youll help manage telecommunications infrastructure projects, ensuring construction and engineering work meet quality standards and project goals. As a key project coordinator, youll work with municipalities, utilities, and internal teams to drive timelines, manage budgets, and keep projects compliant with local regulations.
**What Youll Do:**
+ Oversee OSP construction activities performed by contractors.
+ Ensure contractor work meets engineering, design, and budget specifications.
+ Coordinate projects with state/local municipalities, utilities, and internal teams.
+ Maintain compliance with public ROW and utility easement requirements.
+ Conduct pre- and post-project engineering inspections.
+ Manage project scheduling and monitor expenditures.
+ Prepare accurate invoicing, timesheets, and reporting documentation.
+ Attend pre-construction meetings and track project progress.
+ Perform occasional fieldwork across the South Charleston, WV area.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ **5+ years of combined Outside Plant Engineering & Construction experience.**
+ Expertise in **OSP Engineering, Construction Standards, and Practices.**
+ Strong understanding of **OSP Unit Descriptions, SSP contracts** , and permitting requirements.
+ Knowledge of **Work Zone Protection (WZP)** and **Traffic Control Plans (TCP).**
+ Familiarity with state, local, and company safety standards.
+ Ability to work outdoors in varying weather, with extended driving and physical demands.
+ Flexibility to work overtime and occasional overnight travel.
+ **Valid drivers license** required.
+ Must be **local to South Charleston, WV** for onsite responsibilities.
