At PDS Tech Commercial, we're looking for a skilled Administrator Construction Manager to drive the execution of Outside Plant (OSP) construction projects in the telmunications industry. This role offers the chance to lead essential infrastructure projects that connectmunities and businesses to high-speed networks.
About the Role:
As the Administrator Construction Manager, you'll oversee OSP construction activities managed by external contractors. From project inspection and material management to coordinating with local municipalities and utility teams, your leadership will ensure projects arepleted to specification, safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise contractor-led OSP construction to meet quality standards andpliance requirements.
Coordinate projects with statelocal municipalities and utility partners.
Monitor contractor adnce to safety standards, ROW regulations, and permit conditions.
Conduct pre- and post-construction project inspections.
Manage project materials, schedules, and contractor invoicingtimesheet reporting.
Ensure proper documentation, including as-built records and plant damage reporting.
Support pre-construction meetings, project expenditure monitoring, and cross-departmental coordination.
Collaborate with construction supervisors, engineers, logistics, project management, and more.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years ofbined OSP construction and splicing experience.
Strong knowledge of OSP Construction Standards, unit descriptions, SSP contracts, and safety standards.
Ability to manage projects in outdoor environments and perform physical tasks such as lifting and extended driving.
Familiarity with Work Zone Protection (WZP), Traffic Control Plans (TCP), and permitting processes.
Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills for municipal coordination.
Willingness to work overtime, on-call, and occasional overnight travel.
Valid driver's license required.
