What you will do:
Design electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, life safety, and low-voltage infrastructure
Lead and oversee electrical design and documentation across multiple concurrent projects
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and client representatives to ensure cohesive project delivery
Conduct site visits for field surveys and to monitor construction progress
Mentor junior staff and support business development initiatives through technical expertise
What you will need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering with an electrical focus
5+ years of experience in electrical design for buildings and facilities
Iowa PE license or the ability to obtain within one year
Proficiency in Revit and 3D modeling software is preferred
Skilled in preparing technical specifications and conducting code research
Excellent interpersonal andmunication skills
