Electrician Job Description Join our team as an Electrician working on the new construction of a prominent healthcare facility in Jacksonville, Florida. This role involves assembling, installing, and wiring apparatus and fixtures using hand and power tools on large healthcare construction projects. Responsibilities Assemble, install, and wire apparatus and fixtures using hand and power tools. Bend and run conduit/EMT proficiently. Read and interpret blueprints accurately. Install fuse boxes and perform electrical troubleshooting. Utilize basic hand tools and a cordless drill. Maintain reliable transportation and work 40 hours a week. Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing PPE: Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Steel-Toed Boots, Hi-Vis Shirt/Vest, Safety Gloves, and Working Pants. Essential Skills Minimum 7 years of commercial new construction electrical experience. Proficiency in conduit bending and running. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Experience with high voltage and electrical components. Electrical troubleshooting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bilingual abilities are a plus. Experience overseeing a crew is beneficial. Familiarity with NEC codes. Recent experience, within the last year, in commercial electrical work. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work on new construction commercial job sites throughout Jacksonville. The environment varies between indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to elements such as heat and cold. Standard work hours are from 4 pm to 12:30 am, with a requirement to be on site by 3:50 pm.
