ABM Industries is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. This position involves both independent and collaborative work to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial heating, cooling, and some refrigeration equipment. The role requires membership in Steamfitters Local 449, or the willingness to join.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Minimum 8 years of commercial HVAC experience
Minimum 2 years of HVAC installation experience
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
CFC Certification (Required)
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work on-call, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Must be a current member or willing to become a member of Steamfitters Local 449
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform cleaning, adjustment, and repairs on commercial and industrial HVAC systems (heating, cooling, and refrigeration)
Diagnose and troubleshoot systems including rooftops, boilers, pumps, and split systems
Conduct preventive maintenance including coil cleaning, air handler maintenance, and replacing belts/filters
Install, repair, or adjust ductwork and air vents
Maintain clean and clear condensation drain lines
Execute emergency repairs efficiently and effectively
Maintain accurate service records, logs, and documentation
Manage and care for company-provided service vehicle
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and appliance standards
