Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
As a Forklift Operator, you will operate high reach and dock stocker equipment, including stand-up and high reach forklifts. Your role will involve not only operating the lift but also assisting with material handling tasks. You will be responsible for unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them in assigned areas. Additionally, you will locate and move stock products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment, identify damages, and report any shortages or quality deficiencies. Transporting raw materials to production workstations and performing material tasks throughout your shift will also be part of your duties. Maintaining updated records of inventory and activity logs, complying with company policies and legal guidelines, and helping to maintain a safe and orderly environment in the facilities are crucial aspects of this role.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate high reach and dock stocker equipment, including stand-up and high reach forklifts.
+ Assist with material handling tasks beyond forklift operation.
+ Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned locations.
+ Locate and move stock products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
+ Identify and report damages, shortages, or quality deficiencies.
+ Transport raw materials to production workstations.
+ Perform material tasks throughout the shift.
+ Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
+ Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
+ Help maintain a safe and orderly environment in the facilities.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with forklift operation, particularly with Crown reach truck and stand-up forklifts.
+ 6+ months of prior forklift or equipment operator experience.
+ Ability to hit the ground running without additional training on the equipment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Raymond and Crown Stand-Up Forklifts is advantageous.
+ Solid work history, ideally 1-2 continuous years at the same company.
