Job Summary

Leviat is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures, and maintenance. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for applying organizational and time management skills, along with communication skills, to support the production needs and requirements of the facility. The Maintenance Supervisor should display strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a solid understanding of building maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, cleaning, and managing staff. This position will work closely with all levels of management and employees to ensure safety and promote our safety culture.

Job Responsibilities

  • Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
  • Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work according to forecasted workloads.
  • Employ, supervise, and train employees.
  • Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities.
  • Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
  • Maintain all inventory and equipment, ensuring proper storage.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance work.
  • Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work.
  • Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time.
  • Maintain records, report relevant information, and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments and customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in maintenance supervisor or a related role.
  • Familiarity with building trades, cleaning procedures, and maintenance preferred, but not required.
  • Effective budgeting and perormance management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
  • Ability to train, influence, motivate, and lead others.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
