**Job Description**
We are seeking an EDM Operator to join our dynamic team. This role involves working in a production facility with various EDM machines, ensuring high-quality standards in machining turbine engine aerospace parts. The position offers both day shift (Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) and night shift (Monday-Thursday 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM, Friday 3:30 PM - 1:00 AM) options.
**Responsibilities**
+ Load and set up parts in the EDM machines.
+ Inspect parts for quality during the machining process using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
+ Set up and operate EDM machines, including conventional and 5-axis EDM machines.
+ Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve defects with machinery promptly.
+ Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs.
+ Prepare logs and records to document machine operations and daily production.
+ Set up and switch jobs as required, with training provided.
+ Achieve more than 98% efficiency in daily operations.
**Essential Skills**
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Experience in CNC or other metal machine operations.
+ Proficiency in using measurement devices such as micrometers and calipers.
+ Ability to read and write English.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Eligibility to work in the US.
+ Previous experience in aerospace or EDM operations is a plus.

The work environment is a temperature-controlled production facility with over 150 EDM machines. Employees must be able to work in confined spaces and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level may be loud, requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
