Job Title: Architect Backend Development (Java Spring)

Location: Fort Worth/Dallas, TX (3 days' work from office)

Experience:

9+ years total experience

Minimum 3+ years in architectural design and solutioning

Key Skills & Requirements:

Proficiency in backend development with hands-on experience in Java using Spring framework

Strong experience in microservices architecture

Solid understanding and application of object-oriented design principles

Experience defining architecture and providing solutions for large-scale enterprise applications

Familiarity with Platform as a Service (PaaS), preferably Kubernetes (nice to have)

Experience working with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM

Proficiency with DevOps toolchains including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), ideally developing pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools

Competency in Microsoft Office tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and planning

Interview Process:

1st round: 30-minute virtual interview including a short coding exercise

2nd round: 90-minute in-person interview with a coding exercise
