Development Manager

Development Associate / Manager Vallum Associates are partnered with a well-established and fast-growing clean energy company who is seeking a Development Associate or Manager to support the development of distributed solar and storage projects across the U.S. (In office in Connecticut) About the Role: In this role, you'll work cross-functionally with internal teams to move projects from early-stage development through execution. You'll lead efforts related to interconnection, permitting, real estate, and environmental reviews. This is a fast-paced environment requiring strong project management, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Key Responsibilities: Manage project development activities including interconnection, site control, permitting, and compliance. Collaborate with internal teams to assess project risk and guide strategy. Negotiate and support agreements related to land, utilities, and permitting. Monitor regulatory, utility, and market dynamics in assigned regions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, law, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in renewable energy project development. Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
