What You'll Do
- Operate precision equipment to form micro-scale wire components
- Follow detailed blueprints and process documentation
- Use vision systems, micrometers, and microscopes to ensure accuracy

What We're Looking For

Quality Engineer
Motion Dynamics Corporation, a growing and entrepreneurial-driven manufacturer of precision wire components, springs and wire assemblies located in Fruitport, MI seeks a highly motivated Quality Engineer.
Motion Dynamics Corporation manufactures to the highest standards, from quick prototypes to large quantity production for the Medical, Electronics, Aerospace and Military Industries.
The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment and be a self-starter. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Quality Engineering role including experience with the following:
- Data analysis utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Corrective/Preventative Action (CAPA) and root cause analysis tools and documentation
- Customer Liaison handling complaints and developing effective solutions
- Experience with Gage R&R, PFMEA, Control Plans and Process Flow documentation as part of component part validation processes (IQ, OQ, PQ)
- Collecting, tracking and analyzing quality metrics to improve process performance
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and 13485 requirements
- Effective writing and communication skills
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office
- Experience with Minitab and PLEX ERP a plus
- Expertise in metrology a plus
- A Bachelor's Degree in engineering, quality or manufacturing is preferred

Senior Manufacturing Engineer

wire components, springs and wire assemblies located in Fruitport, MI seeks a highly motivated
person to join the Engineering Team.
Motion Dynamics Corporation manufactures to the highest standards, in a new world class
facility, from short lead time prototypes to large quantity production for the medical, electronics,
automotive, aerospace and military industries.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated and capable of working well
with the manufacturing team to provide a high level of operations support and strong problem-
solving capabilities. This position requires the following:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree
- Proven track record of statistical problem solving
- Tool design experience with CAD
- Ability to recognize problems and/or inefficiencies through observation
- Ability to use statistical analysis software
- Understanding of quality control and practical application of SPC
- Experience with measurement tools and gage R&R techniques
- Lean manufacturing experience including 5S methodology
- Ability to work with others collaboratively and provide a high level of support to all team members
- Ability to provide leadership and mentoring
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using Gantt project management software
- Provide clear and concise report summaries for qualifications, test studies, etc.
- High level of mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot processes and equipment
- Provide hands on support and analysis by studying processes and working closely with manufacturing associates
