Otak is seeking an experienced Transportation Senior Project Manager to join our growing Puget Sound team. This position is based in our Redmond, WA office. In this role, you'll take charge of building strong client relationships, positioning Otak's services to drive business growth, and managing diverse, multi-disciplinary transportation projects. These projects include municipal roadways, transit infrastructure, grading, drainage, and utility systems for both new and existing public clients. The ideal candidate brings established client connections, excellent communication skills, and a passion for collaboration and team leadership. What you'll do:
Develop and maintain client relationships.
Participate in business development activities including client meetings and preparation of proposals.
Oversee design services related to roadway, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control in conformance with local, state and federal regulations, for a variety of public local agencies.
Oversee preparation of specifications and cost estimates.
Plan and coordinate projects with limited supervision.
Assist in assigning duties and schedules to team member.
Prepare project scope, schedule, and budget.
Provide construction support services.
Guide and mentor internal team members and support their professional development.
Take active role in quality control and quality assurance (QA/QC) program.
What you bring:
Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent education is required.
Minimum of 15 years experience as a Civil Engineer, with an emphasis on transportation, public infrastructure, drainage, utilities and civic projects for municipal clients.
Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Washington required or ability to obtain within six months.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships while driving business growth.
Demonstrated leadership skills, strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with various teams throughout the organization.
Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D (MicroStation experience helpful).

Salary range: $140,000 - $190,000 per year
