Location: Garden City, NY (Hybrid Schedule) Salary Range: $130,000 $160,000/year Work Schedule: Hybrid Work from home Mondays & Fridays; in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays Position OverviewAs a Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind the successful execution of aviation fueling projects.Youll manage all aspects of project deliveryfrom technical design and documentation to construction coordination and client communication. This is a high-visibility role with the opportunity to work on mission-critical infrastructure in one of the most dynamic sectors of engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage small to mid-sized aviation fueling projects from concept through completion.
- Coordinate all technical and administrative project communications.
- Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Contribute to engineering reports, calculations, exhibits, and design documentation.
- Assist with document control and construction administration tasks.
- Review and process RFIs, submittals, and substitution requests.
- Attend project coordination meetings and conduct site visits for construction observation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 510 years of experience in project management and construction management.
- EIT or FE certification.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with engineering documentation.
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and pipeline systems.
- Experience in fuel, oil, or gas pipeline construction.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience with aviation/airport fuel pipeline engineering is highly desirable.
