JOB DESCRIPTION
Hill International is seeking an Associate Specialist, Project Management Support in Pomona, California
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports key activities or specific work streams of short term projects where the number of inter-dependencies and interconnections are minimal.
Assigned activities encompass a level of predictability, causality and structure.
Assists with coordinating activities, resources and ensures deliverables are tracked.
Accomplishes results through own efforts.
Gathers and provides information on project health to Project Manager.
Interacts with Project Manager and team members.
Acts as a technical resource.
Provides support in activities that assist in completion of project tasks.
Conducts analysis to support problem identification and solutions.
Documents and tracks project objectives, timelines, risks, milestones, deliverables and budgets.
Assists in conducting analysis and prepares presentations for use in communicating facts, practices, and policies to internal contacts and team members.
Assists, and in some cases, provides input to courses of action and decisions regarding establishing and changing project direction.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
At least two years of project support experience.
Project support, utility, or construction experience; or combination thereof.
Demonstrated intermediate-level experience using Microsoft Office suite, including spreadsheet and presentation software tools to develop deliverables.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with coordinating meetings, activities, resources and tracking deliverables.
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
