About the Role: The Frontend Architect will play a pivotal role within the Business Service Delivery (BSD) unit, part of the Technology, Product, Experience (TPX) organization. Working closely with the Customer Experience Technologies (CXT) team, this position focuses on designing, planning, and integrating cutting-edge software and web applications. These solutions will support the complete customer journey including sales, activation, billing, and support as well as internal systems serving teams like Human Resources, Finance, and Workplace IT. The architect will also be responsible for documentation, technical analysis, testing, and providing leadership and mentorship across the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and define product and technical requirements, ensuring seamless integration of systems.

  • Architect and develop new software and web applications while supporting and customizing existing solutions.

  • Lead software update processes and manage the rollout of new releases.

  • Author and maintain detailed technical documentation, including designs, evaluation plans, test results, user manuals, and recommendations.

  • Analyze competitive products and stay informed on industry trends, patents, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership during the design phase and serve as a mentor to junior developers.

  • Collaborate with QA teams to validate functionality and ensure applications meet all technical specifications.

  • Apply deep knowledge of engineering principles and best practices to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in database management.

  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with REST APIs.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

  • Deep knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals and modern UI development principles.

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, particularly its type system.

  • Expertise in React, including Hooks API and component-based architecture.

  • Familiarity with modern build tools such as transpilers, bundlers, and minifiers.

  • Proficient with Git and version control workflows.

  • Experience with React Router and Axios for client-side routing and HTTP requests.

  • Solid foundation in web standards including HTML, CSS, HTTP, Browser APIs, and REST.

  • Working knowledge of Node.js for backend integration.
