Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer – Manufacturing will design, install, and maintain electrical systems for production equipment, helping to improve performance and minimize downtime in a hands-on, industrial environment. They will work closely with other engineers to troubleshoot issues, optimize systems, and ensure everything meets safety standards.
Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment as an electrical engineer
- Experience with electrical system design, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN)
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, VFDs, and SCADA systems
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and system layouts
- Experience with low voltage (120, 208, 480V), 3-phase systems
Preferred Requirements
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or currently pursuing certification
- Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices
- Prior experience with WET processing or vacuum deposition tools
- Background in managing electrical aspects of capital projects
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work on-site full-time
