**Job Description**
The Equipment Operator is responsible for setting up and operating production machines to cut, bend, straighten, or form parts as specified by blueprints, lay-up sequence, and/or templates. The role also involves performing preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting. The candidate will operate at least three pieces of equipment, including shear, punch press, break press, saw, drill press, and roller.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate production machines according to specifications.
+ Perform preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting on equipment.
+ Operate a variety of equipment, including shear, punch press, break press, saw, drill press, and roller.
+ Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.
+ Load, unload, and palletize materials.
+ Safely operate overhead crane when necessary.
+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production line environment.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Proficiency in operating press break, shear, punch press, saw drill press, or roller.
+ Understanding technical job aspects and following instructions.
+ Accurate measurement skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Prior experience in industrial manufacturing in a non-climate controlled facility.
+ Good communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
+ Regular and predictable attendance.
