Machine Operator Job Description Set up and operate production machines according to specifications. Perform preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting on equipment. Operate a variety of equipment, including shear, punch press, break press, saw, drill press, and roller. Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards. Load, unload, and palletize materials. Safely operate overhead crane when necessary. Read and interpret blueprints accurately. Essential Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production line environment. Ability to read blueprints. Proficiency in operating press break, shear, punch press, saw drill press, or roller.
