Machine Operator

Machine Operator Job Description Set up and operate production machines according to specifications. Perform preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting on equipment. Operate a variety of equipment, including shear, punch press, break press, saw, drill press, and roller. Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards. Load, unload, and palletize materials. Safely operate overhead crane when necessary. Read and interpret blueprints accurately. Essential Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production line environment. Ability to read blueprints. Proficiency in operating press break, shear, punch press, saw drill press, or roller. Understanding technical job aspects and following instructions. Accurate measurement skills. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position is based in a heavy industrial steel fabrication facility where candidates are required to wear steel toe boots, hard hats, safety glasses, and ear plugs. The building is open-air with no climate control, experiencing hot temperatures in summer and colder conditions in winter. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
