Machine Operator Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Operator for our manufacturing floor on the 1st shift. This role involves operating various machinery such as saws, polishers, grinders, welding machines, metal benders, and water jet operators within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. Machine setup is also a requirement. The average working hours per week range from 45. Responsibilities Operate machinery including saws, polishers, grinders, welding machines, metal benders, and water jet operators. Perform machine setup and adjustments as needed. Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications. Operate waterjet and brake press machines efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints for manufacturing processes. Perform basic preventive maintenance and lubrication on machines. Load and unload equipment safely. Essential Skills Experience as a machine operator, particularly with waterjet, brake press, and shear press machines. Strong experience in quality control and inspection. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proficiency in performing basic preventive maintenance on machines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in loading and unloading equipment is a plus. Why Work Here?
