Description
Summary: Participates in the design and integrated systems for the Palletizer Division as well as process control application by developing engineering specifications, concepts, methods, program logic control as well as completing production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Produces high quality solutions within defined time constraints using complex analysis and engineering tools such as drawings, bills of materials, and specifications to communicate designs

Improves productivity and consistency within each phase of projects (engineering, production, and installation) by using standard equipment Master Files to quote existing solutions when possible
Confirms and assists in the documentation of manufacturing, assembly, and installation process
Provides cost estimates based on product knowledge and technical familiarity and supports team objectives to complete projects on time and within estimated budgets
Provide product, service or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests
Tests design feasibility be evaluating testing methods, testing products and equipment, evaluating outcomes and modifying designs as necessary
Supports and backfills for other engineering team members as needed to release large and complex projects
Complies with safety standards by designing equipment to adhere to safety standards and reduce product liability
Contributes to customer service satisfaction by assisting the service department as needed in fielding customer service call, troubleshooting, and correcting problems
Continuously improves operating efficiencies by participating and leading in cross-functional teams, eliminating non-valued-added activities; documenting processes; documenting procedures
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications
Up to 10% travel
