Laborer

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Laborer to assist with various tasks on site. This role is idea for someone looking for part-time or supplemental work, you will be contacted on an as-needed basis to support with ongoing project with general labor and site maintenance duties.

Pay: $42.70/hour

The pay listed is the hourly range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicants education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare construction site by removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials
- Loads and unloads construction materials equipment and tools
- Assists with installation of building components
- Build and dismantle scaffolding, bracing or concrete
- Operates hand and power tool under direction of foreman and trades people
- Assist tradespeople as needed (e.g. Carpenters, Electricians, Engineers)
- Follow all safety procedures and site regulations
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Able to protect furniture and flooring

Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Prior construction or labor experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various conditions
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Punctual, dependable and responsive to on-call requests
- Knowledge of basic construction techniques and safety procedures
- OSHA certification is a plus (but not required)
- Member of Local 79 Mason Tenders Union
