Immediate openings for Grapple Truck Operator on our tree crew! Precision has been in the tree
business for over 40 years and is looking to expand! Work as part of a team in a fast paced
outdoor setting. Experienced candidates will be responsible for driving and operating a grapple
truck to assist in tree pruning and removal operations. An ideal candidate has experience in the
safe and proper methods of tree care, maintenance, and removal. Applicants will also assist
with ground operations as needed. Workers will start and end the day at our Little Canada, MN
office. There is plenty of room to grow in this rewarding line of work. Hybrid Positions available
for applicants with multiple skills.
Responsibilities:
Receive direction from crew lead
Drive grapple truck to jobsite, occasionally pulling trailers (CDL required)
Safely operate grapple to load tree debris with careful consideration of surroundings
Assist groundsman with all ground operations as needed when not operating the grapple
(cleanup, stump grinding, skidsteer, etc.)
Safely and independently transport all wood and debris to various dumpsites around the
metro
Maintain equipment (grease, change hoses and fittings, etc)
Requirements:
Show up on time
Positive attitude
Excellent communication
1+ year experience in grapple truck operation preferred, will train the right candidate
Willingness to continue to learn
Valid CDL (Willing to help obtain)
Able to push, pull, and lift 50+ pounds consistently
Able to stand on feet all day
Arborist Certification preferred (Willing to help obtain)
Benefits
